Access to education
EDiSU Pavia – The services for the right to study are provided by the Ente per il Diritto allo Studio Universitario (EDiSU – Entity for the Right to University Study), an instrumentality of the University of Pavia established with the Lombardy Region law n. 33 of 13th December 2004 “Rules on regional interventions for the right to university study”. The organization manages 10 colleges in Pavia, a university residence in Cremona, and a total of 5 canteens (between concession and partner structures).
CUS Pavia – The Centro Universitario Sportivo di Pavia (CUS – University Sports Center of Pavia) is an amateur sports association based in Pavia whose main purpose is to encourage the practice, dissemination and enhancement of physical education and sports activity for the benefit of university students, first of all, and for the entire citizenship, with particular regard for young people. In this sense, the CUS develops multiple proposals, some with recreational purposes, others with the purpose of starting sport, others with distinctly competitive purposes, in order to be able to respond adequately to the most diverse requests.
IDCD UNIPV – The Servizio Innovazione Didattica e Comunicazione Digitale (Didactic Innovation and Digital Communication Service) provides assistance to teachers, technical-administrative staff and students. Kiro is the e-learning platform of the University of Pavia, accessible to both teachers and students. The portal, a Moodle-based Learning content Management System (LMS), is divided into different platforms depending on the area it belongs to.
