Tra le iniziative di Get Involved UNIPV, il programma dedicato alla promozione del benessere, della partecipazione e della vita di comunità in Ateneo, torna lo Swap Party, l’evento dedicato allo scambio di abiti e accessori che promuove uno stile di vita più sostenibile e consapevole. L’appuntamento si terrà nel Cortile Volta, dalle ore 15:00 alle 19:00, ed è organizzato dalla Consulta PTA-CEL in collaborazione con il CRAL UNIPV e con il patrocinio di OSA – Office for Sustainable Actions.
L’iniziativa rappresenta un esempio concreto di come la sostenibilità possa essere vissuta attraverso azioni semplici e accessibili, capaci al tempo stesso di favorire l’incontro tra persone, la costruzione di relazioni e il senso di appartenenza alla comunità universitaria.
Le precedenti edizioni dello Swap Party, organizzate a partire dal 2025 da OSA – Office for Sustainable Actions e CRAL d’Ateneo in occasione di M’Illumino di Meno e del Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile ASviS, hanno registrato una partecipazione crescente e un forte interesse da parte della comunità accademica e della cittadinanza. L’iniziativa ha attirato anche numerosi studenti internazionali ed Erasmus, che hanno trovato nello Swap Party non solo un’opportunità per contribuire a pratiche di riuso e consumo responsabile, ma anche una risorsa concreta per la vita quotidiana lontano dal proprio Paese d’origine. Oltre ad abiti e accessori, infatti, molti partecipanti hanno potuto reperire oggetti utili per l’allestimento della propria sistemazione temporanea, come piatti, tazze, bicchieri e altri articoli per la casa, favorendo così il riutilizzo di beni ancora perfettamente funzionali e creando al contempo occasioni di incontro, scambio culturale e integrazione all’interno della comunità universitaria.
Attraverso iniziative come questa, Get Involved UNIPV intende favorire occasioni di partecipazione che uniscano benessere individuale, inclusione sociale e sostenibilità ambientale. Lo Swap Party diventa così molto più di un semplice scambio di vestiti: è un’opportunità per riflettere sull’impatto delle nostre scelte quotidiane, promuovere pratiche di riuso e costruire una comunità universitaria sempre più attenta, responsabile e coinvolta.
Regole dello Swap Party
Come partecipare
- Porta abiti, accessori e/o oggetti per la casa in buono stato, puliti e riutilizzabili.
- Non saranno accettati articoli danneggiati, sporchi o non funzionanti.
- La partecipazione è gratuita e aperta a tutta la comunità universitaria e alla cittadinanza.
Cosa si può portare
- Abbigliamento e accessori in buono stato.
- Piccoli oggetti per l’arredo e la vita quotidiana.
Cosa non si può portare
- Indumenti sporchi o danneggiati.
- Biancheria intima .
- Prodotti alimentari.
- Oggetti rotti o non funzionanti.
Lo Swap Party non è un mercato. Nessun oggetto può essere venduto o acquistato: tutto si basa sullo scambio, sul riuso e sulla condivisione. Tutti gli articoli che non verranno scambiati durante lo Swap Party saranno donati ad associazioni benefiche del territorio. In questo modo, abiti e oggetti ancora in buono stato potranno continuare a essere utilizzati, sostenendo persone e famiglie in situazioni di bisogno e contribuendo a ridurre gli sprechi.

Swap Party: Sustainability, Sharing and Active Participation with Get Involved UNIPV
Among the initiatives promoted by Get Involved UNIPV, the programme dedicated to fostering well-being, participation and community life across the University, the Swap Party returns as an event focused on exchanging clothes, accessories and everyday items while encouraging a more sustainable and conscious lifestyle.
The event will take place in Cortile Volta from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is organized by the PTA-CEL Council in collaboration with CRAL UniPv, under the patronage of OSA – Office for Sustainable Actions.
The initiative provides a tangible example of how sustainability can be practiced through simple and accessible actions that also encourage social interaction, relationship-building and a stronger sense of belonging within the University community.
Previous editions of the Swap Party, organized since 2025 by OSA – Office for Sustainable Actions and CRAL UniPVduring the national campaigns M’Illumino di Meno and the ASviS Sustainable Development Festival, have attracted growing participation and significant interest from both the academic community and the wider public. The initiative has also proved particularly valuable for international and Erasmus students, who have found in the Swap Party not only an opportunity to embrace reuse and responsible consumption practices, but also a practical resource for everyday life while living away from their home countries.
In addition to clothing and accessories, participants have often been able to find useful household items for their temporary accommodation, including plates, mugs, glasses and other everyday essentials. In this way, the event promotes the reuse of perfectly functional objects while creating opportunities for social interaction, cultural exchange and integration within the University community.
Through initiatives such as this, Get Involved UNIPV aims to create opportunities for participation that bring together individual well-being, social inclusion and environmental sustainability. The Swap Party is therefore much more than a simple clothes exchange: it is an opportunity to reflect on the impact of our daily choices, promote circular economy practices and contribute to building a more engaged, responsible and sustainable University community.
Swap Party Rules
How to participate
- Bring clothes, accessories and/or household items that are clean, in good condition and suitable for reuse.
- Damaged, dirty or non-functioning items will not be accepted.
- Participation is free of charge and open to the entire University community and the general public.
What you can bring
- Clothes and accessories in good condition.
- Small household and everyday-life items.
What you cannot bring
- Dirty or damaged clothing.
- Underwear.
- Food products.
- Broken or non-functioning items.
The Swap Party is not a market. No items may be bought or sold: the event is entirely based on exchange, reuse and sharing. All items that are not exchanged during the Swap Party will be donated to local charitable organizations. This ensures that clothes and household goods in good condition can continue to be used, while supporting people and families in need and further promoting sustainability through reuse.
